We are seeking engaged, thoughtful volunteers who are passionate about contributing their expertise and perspective.

Please note that active iaedp membership is required to serve on a committee and must be maintained throughout your term of service, which is three (3) years.

* 1. 2027 Symposium Abstract Reviewers

Help shape the educational program for the 2027 iaedp Foundation Symposium by serving as an abstract reviewer. We are seeking a diverse group of reviewers representing a variety of disciplines, experiences, perspectives, and career stages.

There are no prerequisites beyond having an active iaedp Foundation membership. We welcome all voices and viewpoints, as a broad range of perspectives helps us create a stronger and more inclusive educational program.

Reviewers will be assigned abstracts and asked to complete their evaluations during the review period of July 30 through August 13, 2026. The time commitment is manageable and can be completed at your convenience during that timeframe.

Whether you are a seasoned professional or newer to the field, we encourage you to participate and help select the outstanding presentations that will educate and inspire Symposium attendees.

Finance Committee / Comité de Finanzas
The Finance Committee supports the financial health and sustainability of the Foundation by reviewing financial activities and providing informed recommendations to the Board. Responsibilities include evaluating funding proposals, contributing to financial strategy, reviewing reports, and supporting the annual budgeting and audit processes.

Meeting frequency: Quarterly

Estimated monthly time commitment: Varies throughout the year, generally between 2 and 3 hours per month depending on budgeting cycles

El Comité de Finanzas respalda la salud financiera y la sostenibilidad de la Foundation mediante la revisión de las actividades financieras y la formulación de recomendaciones fundamentadas a la Junta Directiva. * 3. Special Interest Group Leadership Committee

The Special Interest Group Leadership Committee (SLC) helps support and strengthen Special Interest Groups (SIGs) across the iaedp Foundation. As the SIG program continues to grow, committee members will play an important role in helping shape how SIGs are supported, connected, and developed.
In addition to providing oversight and guidance, committee members will help identify opportunities to improve processes, support volunteer leaders, encourage member engagement, and share ideas that contribute to the success of the SIG program.

This opportunity is well suited for members who enjoy collaborating with others, supporting volunteer leaders, and helping build programs that foster professional connection and community.

Meeting Frequency: Monthly

Estimated Time Commitment: 3–5 hours per month; however, the time commitment may vary throughout the year depending on projects and priorities.
Committee members participate in meetings, support assigned SIGs, review reports, and contribute to ongoing committee initiatives.

Additional involvement may be needed during:
  • Leadership transitions
  • Annual reporting periods
  • Development of new SIG resources and processes
  • Launch of new SIGs
  • Annual Symposium planning and support
Because the SIG program is continuing to develop, committee members should be flexible, collaborative, and comfortable helping to shape new processes and solutions as needs arise.
