Introduction
Requirements for certification and registration for the Registered Radiologist Assistant are based, in part, on the results of periodic job analyses conducted by ARRT. In January 2025, a survey was sent to practicing registered radiologist assistants (R.R.A.s) with questions about the activities they may perform. An additional survey was sent to radiologists to determine the level of supervision R.R.A.s have when performing various procedures. The R.R.A. Practice Analysis Committee reviewed the results of the surveys and recommended updates based on the returned surveys.
