Health Care Champions Awards: Call for Nominations!

The Virginia Health Care Foundation (VHCF) announces a call for nominations for Health Care Champions and the organizations they serve. As a public-private partnership, the Virginia Health Care Foundation (VHCF) has spent more than 30 years partnering with and investing in organizations across Virginia to expand access to primary care for uninsured and medically underserved Virginians through innovative, transformative service delivery models.

VHCF’s Health Care Champion Awards have been created to recognize individuals or teams who have gone above and beyond to increase access to health care, improve the health of their patients, clients, communities, and/or organizations that make this work possible. We are excited to open the call for nominations to celebrate the champions at our
2026 Cheers for Champions award event!

As part of the awards program, we’ll reflect on the transformational impact of the past 30+ years
and share a vision for the next era. Your nomination helps tell that story.
