2026 Chapter Leadership Institute Funding Assistance Application

Application Deadline: May 8, 2026

ALA’s Chapter Leadership Institute is an event that provides education opportunities, leadership and communication training as well as excellent relationship building opportunities for chapter officers and volunteer leaders.

The ALA Board of Directors understands that each chapter’s financial situation is different and has set aside funds to support those chapters who need assistance with the cost. The Board will consider one funding application per chapter based on financial need.

The most recent balance sheet must accompany the application. If there is not a recent balance sheet available, please reach out to chapters@alanet.org.

Applications are reviewed by the ALA Executive Committee and decisions will be communicated by no later than May 27, 2026.
