Introduction
This survey is being done by the Strathmore University Prism Centre and the Kenya Health Human Resource Advisory Council to understand your experiences as a Kenyan health worker and help the Government establish a reliable baseline measure and database of health workforce views, experiences, concerns and suggestions across important areas like training, registration, employment, career progression, retention strategies, and migration. Your input will help shape policies, strategies and guidelines to improve your work environment and well-being, contributing to a more effective, equitable and responsive health system.
Informed consent
This study aims to generate strategic intelligence, foster cross-sectoral collaboration, and develop an AI-powered HRH analytics platform to enhance the HRH planning, effective deployment, and sustainability of the Kenya’s HWF. The study’s findings are expected to inform evidence-based decision-making, thereby improving workforce management, productivity, and planning.
The survey should take approximately 15 - 20 minutes to complete. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary. All the details provided will be treated with utmost confidentiality. There will be no compensation for participating in the study.
