2026 4th Annual Food Drive Benefitting Local Families

VolALX hosts the community-wide food drive to restock all food pantries and the food center ALIVE! in Alexandria. Community food drives are an important part of the ability to keep costs down and serve more people in need. Food donations are down in the Summer, but the number of families are still high, and the food center’s inventory is very low in the summer. This drive will run for the month of July and will help to increase inventory and reduce costs for purchased food.


Food items needed: Canned meat, fish, fruit, and vegetables. Cooking Oil in plastic bottles. Peanut Butter and ready to eat kids meals. Please no glass containers.


Our goal is to collect 40,000 pounds of food for 2,500 families with YOUR HELP!

Please note, we are asking for a $50 donation from non-sponsors to help us offset cost for marketing. Thank you.
