This is a survey for young people aged 10 to 25 who live, work, study, or spend time in the City of Wanneroo.
The City wants to hear from young people about the type of youth leadership opportunities that matter to you and how you'd like to have a say on plans and decisions that affect your future. The Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) will help do this work and the City of Wanneroo will use your feedback to help shape changes This information will be used to create two documents:
1. Youth Leadership and Empowerment Model. This will outline the opportunities (such as programs, activities and events) the City will provide to help young people build skills, get involved, and take on leadership roles.
2. Youth Consultation and Engagement Framework. This will outline how the City of Wanneroo will involve young people in plans and decisions, including how they ask for input and share what happens next.
The survey has 17 main questions and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The Youth Reference Group for this project helped us create and share this survey with other young people. By completing the survey, you can go in the draw to win a prize of $100 EFTPOS VISA gift card, or runner up prize of $50. Only young people in Western Australia will go in the draw to win this prize.
This survey closes Monday 1st June 2026.
