Tourists love to ride. Ride Tourists also love to spend money in destinations that welcome them, their mates, family and especially there first loves, their bikes. Making the most of the bike tourism opportunity takes some understanding of what riders want when they visit destinations, how to build your products and services to meet their needs and how to spend time on the right marketing at the right time to attract them. oh - and we will be talking about all types of people powered pedalling - Mountain and Road Bikes. With the launch of Mt. Kembla trails and the ride friendly business program continuing to grow, this session will be a great chance to pick up some new ideas and network with other cycle friendly business owners.
This workshop will look at the opportunity that cycle tourism plays in building the destination and how you can position your business to carve out a bigger part of the pie. From new ideas to help build your business, through to leveraging local cycle events, hear from local bike aficionados, lovers and weekend pedallers on the simple things you could try to help boost your business in 2026.
