New Zealand farmers are well aware of the biosecurity risks of animal disease like Mycoplasma bovis or FMD. However, there are diseases of plants that can also have serious impacts on your pastures and forages. Little is known about the impact of these diseases on pastures or how these diseases are managed or controlled on farm.

We are asking you, as a farmer in our animal production sector to provide feedback on:
  • Grass, pasture and forage crop diseases or pathogens; and
  • The management methods you are using against pasture and forage crop diseases.
This survey will take 7-10 minutes to complete and provide guidance to AgResearch researchers developing tools, guidance, and other support for effective disease prevention and control. Completing the survey will put you in the draw to win one of five $100 Prezzy cards.

Results from this survey will be shared through a webinar for farmers and industry, highlighting the potential contributions that researchers can provide to target specific areas of priority for our farmers. Results will also be used for an open access science publication, available to all farmers.
