Community Petition for Greenslopes Post Office Closure

Greenslopes Post Office has closed unexpectedly, on the back of a proposed closure of Camp Hill Post Office.

Post offices are more than just places to send mail. They are essential hubs where residents access everyday services like bill payments, passports, and face-to-face support.

When these services disappear, it’s not just inconvenient, it disproportionately impacts vulnerable residents, forces people to travel further for basic needs, and reduces the vital human connection many rely on.

Nationally, around 173 post offices have closed in the past two years, yet community demand has not declined. Instead, we’re seeing growing service gaps.

Our community deserves better.

I am advocating strongly to ensure our local services are protected but I need your help. Please make your voice heard and stand up for the services that keep our neighbourhood connected and liveable by signing my petition here.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this petition.

Yours sincerely
Cr Fiona Cunningham
