The Community Advocacy Academy is designed to provide community members and service providers with the knowledge and tools to become effective advocates in their own communities. The Advocacy Academy model supports the belief that everyone can be an advocate—whether residents are interested in reaching out to their elected officials or just want to engage their neighbors around a common concern. Training is planned for October 27 & 28 2026 at the offices of Community Health Council in Wyandotte County.
