Project Inspire Kenya & Uganda

This week-long journey offers Jewish adults ages 26-40 from the Greater Boston area a deep dive into Israel’s commitment to global responsibility, the humanitarian challenges it’s solving, and the best practices being employed in international development.  The experience is enriched through conversations with the community of peers travelling with you and meetings with change-makers who are saving lives and improving quality of lives.

Trip Dates: July 1-July 11, 2019

This is a highly subsidized program. Participation fee is $1,200 USD and the trip includes:

  • Roundtrip international airfare from Boston, MA 
  • Local transportation in country
  • Meals
  • Accommodations (shared)
  • Site visits, briefings, tours, etc.
Participants will be expected to submit payment of $1,200 within 7 days upon notification of selection to secure their place on the trip. 

Participants are responsible for obtaining their own travel insurance, vaccinations, transportation to and from the airport in Boston, and all other incidental expenses. Applicants must carry their own medical insurance. CJP will arrange visas to Kenya and Uganda on behalf of participants at a cost of $300.

All program participants will be required to sign a program waiver, submit medical information, a copy of passport valid for at least six months, and emergency contact information.

Participants are required to attend an orientation session at CJP on Thursday, June 13 at 6pm. 

Flight details: The group flight will depart from Boston Logan International Airport on July 1, 2019. All participants are expected to meet at the airport three hours prior to departure and must travel to Nairobi with the group. Exact flight details will be shared upon notification of acceptance.
