Do you like to share your opinions and get your voice heard? Are you passionate about online safety? Do you have what it takes to represent young people at exciting opportunities with government and industry?

If so, then we need your help! We are looking for young people aged 13-17 and living in the UK, to sign up for our youth advisory board. This is an exciting opportunity to help play a part in making the internet a great and safe place for all children and young people.

What does being on the Childnet Youth Advisory Board look like?

Each month our youth advisory board meet online to discuss online issues and trends, with opportunities to shape the work of the UK Safer Internet Centre.

Our youth advisory board also get unique opportunities to get involved in our Safer Internet Day plans. In previous years this has ranged from speaking at events with the internet industry, to visiting Westminster to share their views with Members of Parliament.

How do I apply?

The application form to join our youth advisory board has two parts:
  1. Information about you and your parent or carer
  2. Questions to find out more about you and your interest in online safety

What will we you do with your data?

All personal information that is collected, used or kept for the purposes of the Childnet Youth Advisory Board is kept securely and only for the purposes of the board and is compliant with GDPR.
