Township of Severn is seeking your feedback on the proposed elements that could become part of the new passive park located at 3253 Port Severn Road, Port Severn. This site is currently characterized by open lawn, with a retaining wall along the waterfront. Previous consultation has identified a passive park as the preferred future use for the site, and a design concept is now being developed.
All concepts for the park will include the following:
· A primarily passive park experience
· Removal of the existing buildings
· Pathways/walkways that will be fully accessible
· Benches that are distributed along the paths throughout the park
· Retention of the existing concrete wall along the waterfront (part of the Trent-Severn Waterway)
The purpose of this survey is to identify which additional design elements are most important to the community, how the community would like these elements to look and function, and what concerns they have about the future park.
