Guiding Principles for Science Journalism
Dear science journalist,
This study aims to map the views of science journalists around the globe about which should be the guiding principles for science journalism.
It is a joint initiative of The Kavli Foundation, the World Federation of Science Journalists and Brazil’s National Institute of Public Communication of Science and Technology.
The study started in Latin America and the Caribbean, aiming at mapping out the views of science journalists on science journalism in the region. Based on the answers of approximately 180 science journalists, with extensive comments on different topics, the initiative was scaled up and now is global. If you have already participated in the Latin American survey, there is no need to answer this questionnaire again.
The results will help to consolidate the Statement of Guiding Principles for Science Journalism, to be discussed during the World Conference of Science Journalists in June, in Medellin (Colombia).
The survey requires 15 minutes of your time.
We want to hear your voice. Your collaboration is very important to us!
