About The Business Hall Of Fame

The NE Chamber, in cooperation with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business, established the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame in 1992 to recognize Nebraska business leaders whose contributions to Nebraska's economy and business environment is deserving of public acclaim.

Each year, nominations for the Nebraska Business Hall of Fame are solicited from the general business community, statewide associations, and from academia. Individuals to be honored are selected for recognition by the NE Chamber at its annual meeting and Hall of Fame Banquet, held each year.
Criteria

Nominees can be either living or deceased individuals who have added to the prestige and growth of business in Nebraska.

Business people from large and small businesses and corporations, or anyone who has made a significant contribution to the free enterprise system, and who is or was associated with business, will be eligible.

The honorees may or may not be currently holding the position in which they achieved major success for which they are being honored.

Though current residence is not required, the contribution to the business economy must have affected Nebraska.

Nominations need only be submitted once. If not selected, they will be considered in future years.
