MSAE is seeking candidates to serve on the MSAE Board of Directors. The Leadership Identification & Development Committee is responsible for identifying candidates and preparing a slate to fill four At-Large seats (3-year terms), one Industry Partner seat (2-year term), and one Association Management Company seat (2-year term). Terms will begin December 3, 2026.
MSAE board members are expected to serve as thoughtful stewards of the association, advancing its mission and vision through active participation in governance. This includes preparing for and engaging fully in board and committee meetings, upholding fiduciary responsibilities, and helping set strategic direction with a forward-looking, inclusive perspective. Board members are also expected to act as ambassadors of MSAE by fostering relationships, supporting key initiatives, and modeling integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to strengthening Michigan’s association community. The MSAE Board of Directors meets approximately five times per year and is elected from the Regular membership.
