Question Title

* 6. Exciting Bonus Question Number 1: Should the CIS October Break align with the same time as the government schools' October Break? Helpful background information ... CIS works to prepare its annual calendar two years in advance to support longer-term school planning and CIS families' plans. The government school calendars process is different and their calendar tends to be published in late spring for the next school year. This sometimes results in their being a difference in October Break times. With this in mind - if it is preferred that CIS' October Mid-Term Break be aligned with the government schools - the CIS October Break would be tentative each year until the government school calendar is confirmed for that year and this would take effect as of the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Question Title

* 7. Exciting Bonus Question Number 2: Should the February Break be omitted and instead have a two week Spring Break (March 22 to April 2) 2027? Helpful background to this question ... Ash Wednesday (February 10) and Easter (March 28) 2027 is very early. This means the February Break in relation to Ash Wednesday is closer than usual to the Winter / Christmas Break. With this in mind, should the February Break be omitted and instead have a two week Spring Break (March 22 to April 2) 2027? Please note that in the Cayman Islands some schools have a two week Spring Break around Easter and some do not. Also, it is possible that some schools in the Cayman Islands will have and February Break around Ash Wednesday regardless of how early this day falls on the calendar.
