Share Your Experience of Attending A&E at Tameside General Hospital

At Healthwatch Tameside, we work on behalf of the community to make sure health and care services are working as best they can for you, influenced by what you tell us.

Our role is to make sure the views of local people are listened to by the people who deliver NHS health and social care services. As an independent service, we gather feedback from people in Tameside on how they feel about NHS and social care services, which is then used to influence decisions made about health and care services in Tameside. We are an independent service, separate from the NHS and the council.

Attendances to the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department at Tameside General Hospital are currently very high.

We want to understand how you accessed A&E and whether better information or improvements to other services could help prevent future visits. We also want to hear about your experience while waiting in A&E at Tameside General Hospital — what worked well and what changes could make your experience better.

This survey is open to anyone who has attended the A&E department at Tameside General Hospital in the past 18 months.

Healthwatch Tameside will produce a report of findings and recommendations for Tameside General Hospital and local commissioners. This report will also be published on our website and social media so the community can see the impact of their feedback.

All responses will be anonymous. You can find out more about how we use your data in our Privacy Policy, which can be found here: www.healthwatchtameside.co.uk/privacy.
