The CAWIC Student Member of the Year recognizes an outstanding student who actively supports CAWIC’s mission and demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing women in construction through leadership, engagement, and a dedication to learning, mentorship, and inclusivity within the industry.
Award criteria:
- Impact: Demonstrates meaningful contributions that reflect CAWIC’s mission—such as leadership in school initiatives, community involvement, or efforts to inspire others to pursue careers in construction.
- Inspiration: Actively champions diversity, equity, and inclusion within their academic, volunteer, or early professional environments, helping to build a more inclusive future in construction.
- Engagement: Regularly participates in CAWIC events, programs, or initiatives, and contributes positively to the student or broader CAWIC community.
