On Aging 2026 Keith Kuo Memorial Scholarship

ASA’s commitment to ensuring access for all is deeply shaped by the work of a former colleague, Keith Kuo. Even if you did not know him, the values he championed in equity, inclusion, and removing financial barriers continue to influence how we design the On Aging Conference and who we make room for in this space.

To carry this legacy forward, we created the Keith Kuo Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund provides financial support to individuals who might otherwise be unable to attend, ensuring that the conversations, connections, and learning happening here are accessible to a broader and more diverse community.

The number of scholarships available will be determined by the amount of funding received from donations. Selected ASA members will receive a full or partial scholarship that may be used to cover the cost of registering for On Aging 2026 in Atlanta, GA, April 20–23, 2026 and hotel. Please be aware that this scholarship does not include transportation expenses.

Requirements to Apply:
1. You must be an ASA Member when you apply. (If you are not presently a member of ASA, please note that you will be required to join ASA before we can process your award.)
2. Your application must be completed by Jan. 31, 2026.
3. You must be prepared to cover part of your registration and travel expenses.
4. You must require this support for it to be possible for you to attend On Aging 2026. (If an organization employs you, you must not be reimbursed for any expenses this scholarship covers.)
5. Applicants previously awarded a Conference Scholarship (or Travel Scholarship) are not eligible.
