This full-day online workshop is designed for teachers ready to embark on their journey toward national certification as Highly Accomplished or Lead Teachers (HALT). Together, we will:
- Unpack the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers to understand their application in practice.
- Explore the certification process in detail, including timelines, roles, and responsibilities.
- Learn how to identify and present quality evidence that aligns with the Standards.
- Develop an understanding of the requirements for a successful portfolio submission that demonstrates your exemplary practice, impact on colleagues, and most importantly, your positive impact on student outcomes.
- Gain practical skills for annotating evidence to clearly articulate its alignment with the Standards and the story it tells about your practice.
Through virtual activities and practical discussions, this workshop will equip you with the tools and knowledge to showcase your leadership, expertise, and measurable impact on student learning. By the end of the day, you’ll feel confident and prepared to advance in your certification journey.
