Are you passionate about strengthening energy and economic security programs for low-income individuals and families? Do you have innovative ideas, best practices, or lived experience that can help shape the future of our network? Join colleagues from across the country as we come together to strengthen the foundation of our work and expand our collective impact.
Our work is grounded in strong foundations, including program integrity, community trust, and proven strategies. This year’s theme, From Roots to Reach, reflects our commitment to building on that foundation while pushing forward and expanding what is possible for the communities we serve and the network that supports them.
As a presenter, you play a critical role in bringing this theme to life. Proposals are being sought for Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and/or general session tracks. We invite state and local agency staff, subject matter experts, nonprofit leaders, policy advocates, and individuals with lived experience to submit proposals.
NASCSP is seeking proposals in fiscal, technical, and programmatic areas of both programs, with top priorities listed below:
CSBG:
- Developing and implementing effective policy manuals and SOPs that improve consistency and compliance
- Strengthening subgrantee performance, including strategies for supporting struggling agencies
- Enhancing fiscal and programmatic monitoring practices
- Using data for storytelling, decision-making, and demonstrating impact
- Navigating funding formula changes and planning for long-term sustainability
- Training and Technical Assistance (T&TA) Planning
- Improving data collection, reporting, and quality assurance tools
WAP:

They say everything is bigger in Texas, and Houston gives us the space to think bigger about how we expand our reach and impact. The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 5, 2026, at 12 PM ET!
