Canyon Road Median Design

Huitt-Zollars and Sites Southwest have provided direction to Los Alamos County on developing a median template to be applied to the Canyon Road and Diamond Drive medians. Initiated in 2024, the median design effort aimed to establish a clear, balanced, and functional approach that addresses the complexity of the roadway environment and meets NMDOT requirements.

We are gathering public input through September 13, 2026. Once comments are received, the information will be presented to County Council.
