Share your experience living with obesity or caring for a person with obesity! |
This survey is part of the World Obesity Federation’s MAPPS II project, which aims to gather insights into obesity prevention, management and treatment from key stakeholders. To participate in this survey, you must be:
- aged 18 or older
- have lived experience of obesity or be a parent or carer of someone living with obesity.
For this project, obesity is defined as a chronic condition where excess weight impairs health and lived experience does not require a formal diagnosis by a health or medical professional. If you do not meet this criteria but would still like to contribute to MAPPS II please consider completing our survey for health and medical professionals or policy makers, civil society actors and researchers.
Your responses will help identify key challenges, areas of good practice, and opportunities for strengthening obesity-related policies and multisectoral collaboration globally. If you agree to be in this study, you will complete an online survey. The survey includes questions about your personal experience living with obesity in your country, including questions about the health system and obesity policies. It should take you approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Your participation is voluntary, and if at any point you do not wish to answer a question, you can skip it by not providing a response and moving to the next question. Once you answer any questions, you are unable to withdraw your consent as all responses are anonymous.
What will happen with the information I share?
