Welcome to the Youth Work Awards 2026 Nominations!
Since 2013, Youth Action has hosted the annual NSW Youth Work Awards to recognise and celebrate outstanding youth workers, services, volunteers and partnerships making a positive difference in the lives of young people across New South Wales.
The 2026 Awards will be held in Sydney on
Monday, 30 November 2026, bringing together the youth sector to recognise and celebrate youth work excellence.
Nominating an individual, organisation, program or service is an opportunity to publicly recognise their outstanding contribution to young people and the youth sector. There are four organisation, program or service award categories, three individual award categories, one award category for both individuals and organisations, as well as the Youth Work Hall of Fame, which recognises an individual who has worked in the youth sector for 15 years or more.
You are welcome to submit more than one nomination. If you would like to nominate the same individual or organisation for more than one award category, or nominate multiple individuals or organisations, please complete a separate nomination form for each nomination. Please check whether your chosen award category is for an individual or an organisation, program or service before you begin.
Nominations will be considered by an independent judging panel of young people, youth sector representatives and Youth Action. Please provide specific examples and as much relevant detail as possible within the word limit to help the panel assess your nomination against the criteria for your chosen award.
