2026 Norman & Jane Durham Memorial Scholarship

In recognition of the continued support and service of Dr. Norman and Jane Durham, the Payne County Cattle Producers are sponsoring a $1,500 memorial scholarship in their honor. The Durham Ranch was a premier Polled Hereford breeding program that spanned over several decades. Norm and Jane excelled in improving and promoting the Polled Hereford breed with numerous national champions. The Durham’s were dedicated to promoting youth involved in agriculture, especially through beef projects. This prestigious scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior that demonstrates the hard work and dedication that the Durham family showcased.

A $1,500 scholarship is awarded to an applicant meeting the following requirements:
  • Applicant is a resident of Payne County and/or attends a Payne County School.
  • Is a 2027 graduating senior.
  • Plans to further their education at an accredited college, university, or trade school.
Funds will be dispursed upon proof of full-time enrollment at an accredited college, university, or trade school. Contact Payne Co Extension office with any questions at 405-747-8320.
