The American Academy of Pediatrics is pleased to announce that individual nominations are being accepted for the 2026 Dr Beverly P. Wood Outstanding Pediatric Radiology Clinical Educator Award.

Background

The Beverly P. Wood Outstanding Pediatric Radiology Clinical Educator Award was established in 2023 to honor the work and memory of Beverly P. Wood. Dr. Wood dedicated her work life to children and families and, through the American Academy of Pediatrics, advanced the education of pediatricians and pediatric best practices. With a particular devotion to both pediatric radiology and pediatrician education, Dr. Wood was a passionate advocate for children and believed strongly in the Academy’s ability to create positive change.
