Whare Tukutuku welcome your whakaaro and feedback!

Te Rau Ora in partnership with the New Zealand Drug Foundation are developing a new workforce approach - Whare Tukutuku. The kaupapa is to support whānau who do mahi in the Alcohol and other Drug (AOD) harm reduction space, putting whānau at the center to improve equity of care.

Whare Tukutuku wants to better understand the workforce experiences of Māori primary care kaimahi and whānau Māori working in the AOD space. This approach is about our communities, what is happening in them in the AOD space in strengthening our collective ability to grow solutions. Whare Tukutuku will use what we learn to form an approach that is informed by mātauranga and framed in Te Tiriti o Waitangi. This approach will be used to design training and educational activities for both the AOD workforce and whānau Māori working in AOD mahi.

Whare Tukutuku welcome your input and insights! We have created a short on-line survey so that individuals and groups can have input and share expertise.
This survey is open until Friday 20th December 2020.
