RE-OPENING West Area Plan Community Survey |
The City of Madison is planning for the future of the West Area. We have been gathering feedback since January through public meetings, an interactive commenting map and this Community Survey. A summary of assets, issues and opportunities we have heard so far is on the City's webpage.
We are re-opening this survey to encourage even more responses as we lead into the next round of public meetings on July 18 and July 26 (Virtual), and August 2 at Rennebohm Park.
The West Area Plan will be guided by overarching City policies and feedback from the community. We would like to hear from residents, property owners, businesses, community organizations and other stakeholders. The Plan will address community issues like land use, transportation, housing, parks and open space, stormwater management, facilities, utilities, economic development, and historic and cultural resources.
The City is seeking feedback from a wide range of stakeholders, with an emphasis on reaching traditionally underrepresented communities. To help us reach this goal, we also request that you consider completing the demographic survey. And, if you have not done so yet, please consider subscribing to our newsletter to receive regular Plan updates at www.cityofmadison.com/westplan
