Council is looking for 30 households in the City of Ryde that are keen to improve their waste and recycling habits, to participate in a 3-month trial program from March to May 2021.

Participants will be provided with resources and support to help them to reduce their waste. These include:
  • A toolkit with waste and recycling information
  • Reusable items to replace single-use items
  • Either a compost bin, worm farm or a Bokashi bin to reduce food waste
  • A recording booklet to record and assess waste generated throughout the trial
Participants will be asked to record and assess their weekly waste during the trial, and also to evaluate and report back on their progress at the end of the 3-month trial.
