Participation in this survey is voluntary. Information provided is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
Personal information, as defined by section 2 of MFIPPA, does not include the name and contact information of an individual acting in a business capacity, even if an individual carries out business from their dwelling and the contact information for the individual relates to that dwelling.
The Town of Stouffville is subject to the access provisions of MFIPPA and may be required to disclose survey information, including business contact information, if it is requested through the Freedom of Information process.
