West Hartford's Leisure Services & Social Services Department is developing a plan for Kennedy Park with the help of Weston & Sampson.
Goals of the project:
1. Improve pedestrian and vehicular circulation to facilitate accessibility throughout the park in a manner that promotes connection to areas of use and safety.
2. Identify opportunities to expand parking to meet the needs of the park users.
3. Identify opportunities that make the site more compelling aesthetically.
4. Protect the existing tree canopy and promote diversity for future plantings.
As part of the design process, Weston & Sampson would like to hear from the community members.
Input from this survey will inform the conceptual design for the park. Please take a moment to complete the survey below and let the team know what types of improvements you would like to see at Kennedy Park.
