Thanks for coming to this survey to give your thoughts on the re-development of Walworth Town Hall. We really appreciate your time, ideas and comments. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

Overview of the re-development plans
Through a competitive process, General Projects were selected by Southwark council to lead the refurbishment and transformation of Walworth Town Hall. Their proposal seeks to provide a mix of studio workspaces and co-working for the creative industries and SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) designed around a new cultural and community hub. The community hub will be anchored by ‘Community Rooms’ and the café and restaurant, which will both be open to the public all year round. The 'Community Rooms' would be open for local community organisations to use at no charge.

The potential uses and design of this space is a key focus of this survey, as well gathering wider insight about the local area to help the project team understand local priorities and aspirations. In addition to this survey there will be an extensive outreach programme to hear from local people. The outreach will be mainly delivered by local young people from the amazing Southwark Young Advisors group. They are specially trained for this type of project and will be supported by engagement specialists Kaizen. There will also be a large open house event at the site on September 3rd which we hope you can come to, where you can meet the team and ask questions.
