Community Survey #2

Survey Introduction

The Town of Woodside is currently updating the Town Center Area Plan (TCAP). The refreshed Plan will reflect Woodside’s values, enhance what people already love about the Town Center, and outline a long-range vision for improvements and changes in the area. Over the past year, the Town has gathered input from Council, the Citizens Advisory Committee, and the community at large through pop-ups, an online survey (with over 500 responses from residents), and a public open house. This input helped the Town develop a set of preliminary concepts for transportation, parking, land use, and public gathering spaces in the Town Center. These concepts are the focus of this survey.
  • Will the concepts shown in this survey be built? Not necessarily; these are merely preliminary ideas that would be further reviewed, refined, and explored in greater detail by the Town if the community agrees they should be incorporated into the updated Plan.
  • How will the Town pay for all these enhancements? These initial concepts are being provided merely to solicit opinions on what could possibly be completed in the long term if funding is made available. This survey will help the Town prioritize.
  • What happens with my feedback? Community input on the first survey served as the foundation for the desired outcomes and initial policy direction for this Plan Update. Your input on this second survey will ultimately help determine which policies and concepts become the final recommendations that will shape the Town Center for decades to come.
