Childcare in the Western Isles - Survey

Pressure on families across the Western Isles around access to childcare has been building in recent years in many of our local communities. I would like to gather as much data as possible from across the islands to understand the situation at present, and to then identify and implement solutions, working with other agencies and government colleagues to try and improve access to childcare for local parents.

I would be grateful if you could share this survey as widely as possible, as I would like to hear from as many parents of under 5-year-olds as possible, both in relation to childcare for 0-2 year olds and experiences of funded childcare from age 3-5.

Please do send on any additional comments or examples on to me via email on alasdair.allan.msp@parliament.scot.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey, which I hope shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes.

The deadline for completing this survey is the 31st May.

Ceud taing,

Alasdair Allan MSP
