Alexandra District Health and Eastern Health have a long-term partnership in delivering healthcare services across Alexandra and district communities.The Boards of Alexandra District Health and Eastern Health are looking to expand this partnership and have jointly agreed to
explore how voluntary amalgamation could bring together the strengths of both health services. We want to hear from the communities that Alexandra District Health and Eastern Health serve, to understand community views about how local health services can best meet future needs, including thoughts on the possibility of Alexandra District Health and Eastern Health working more closely together, which may include voluntary amalgamation.
This short survey asks for your views on what health services are important to you and asks about possible benefits of both health organisations coming together in a voluntary amalgamation.
The survey is open until
11:59pm Thursday 20 November 2025 and the findings will be reported to the Boards of both health services and used to inform any future business case.
It should take 15 minutes to complete, and all answers are anonymous and confidential.
