Awards for Excellence recognize outstanding individuals, public entity pools and others who showcase the very best and brightest of pooling.

Eligibility for the Performance Award

The Award for Excellence in Performance recognizes an AGRiP member pool for developing, implementing and managing a creative idea, program or approach that results in measurable impact.

Specific criteria for the Performance Award are:
  • Development and implementation of a novel idea, program or approach that controls risks, loss costs, or meets other pooling goals and member needs
  • Measurable, demonstrated success of this idea, program or approach (not merely an idea with merit)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively share or transfer the contribution to other public entity pools
Special consideration is given to ideas and outcomes that can be shared with and replicated by other pools.

Nominations may be made by any individual, including someone associated with the pool being nominated. Submit all nomination materials by 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025.
