The Washoe County School District (WCSD) is building a new elementary school for students in kindergarten through grade 5 on the current Pine Middle School campus. We are asking for nominations to name this new elementary school.
Please complete this survey to submit your nomination, which will close on June 2, 2026 at 5 p.m. The survey should take approximately 2-3 minutes.
All nominations will be shared with the WCSD School Naming Committee who will narrow down the choices to approximately 10 finalists. Included on the list of finalists will be Sessions “Buck” Wheeler, as this was a finalist from the most recent school naming process, and this name may automatically be carried over.
