PURPOSE
This survey gathers structured and verifiable data from Supervising Lawyers involved in the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) to:
Assess implementation of Revised Rule 138-A (Student Practice Rule)
Determine how the CLEP contributes to the attainment of the JD Program Outcomes
Evaluate supervision systems and andragogical practices
Establish baseline data on classroom component utilization and student output
Identify operational gaps and training needs
Strengthen CLEP’s contribution to practice readiness and access to justice

This survey should be answered only by a Supervising Lawyer directly involved in CLEP implementation (clinic, externship, and/or classroom component).
Please respond based on actual supervisory experience during the most recent academic year or semester.
Where exact numerical data are unavailable, reasonable estimates may be provided.
Responses should reflect actual practices and documented outputs rather than institutional aspirations or policy statements.
For purposes of this survey, the following terminology applies:
CLEP I (Level 1 Certification) — limited scope student practice under Rule 138-A.
CLEP II (Level 2 Certification) — expanded scope student practice under Rule 138-A.
