Notice of the 145th Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 145th Annual General Meeting of The Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) will be held in person, at 14/15 Belgrave Square SW1X 8PS on Wednesday 1 July 2026 at 3.30pm or as soon as possible thereafter for the following purposes:

1. To note those present and those sending apologies for absence and to note the Notice convening the meeting.

3. To receive and adopt the Society’s Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2025.

Note: The Statutory Accounts and Reports of the Auditors are available to members on request. The summary information enclosed has been certified by the Auditors in accordance with relevant legislation.

4. To approve the appointment of Buzzacott LLP as auditors, to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM.

5. Governance changes
To elect the following Governance members:

- Ordinary Members of the Board of Trustees
- Ordinary Member of the Membership Committee
- Ordinary Member of the Publications Committee


6. Any other business of an urgent nature.
