Every day, the UK SMART Recovery volunteer community does something extraordinary. Our volunteer facilitators, whether they volunteer directly for UKSR or for one of our valued partner organisations, give their time, energy and commitment to help others at a time when they most need support.
Our annual SMART Volunteer Awards are our way of making sure that these amazing people don’t go unnoticed.
For 2026 we have seven award categories for you to nominate in: our four returning award categories, along with three new additions.

If someone has made a difference to you or someone you know, we want to hear about it. A few honest sentences is all it takes. There are no right or wrong answers, and the judging panel isn't looking for perfectly crafted prose. They're looking for a real picture of a real person and what they've contributed.
Write from the heart, and trust that what you know about this person is what we want to hear.
