TPS regularly undertakes a survey of its members to give you an opportunity to tell us what you think about Transport Planning more widely and the activities that the Society promotes or gets involved with.

We value the feedback provided through our surveys to help shape our activities in the year ahead.

Since the last survey, we have:

  • Formed our TPS Policy Panel to ensure TPS is influential and proactive in seeking improvements in policy and practice.
  • Established a Mentoring Programme, connecting emerging and experienced transport planners.
  • Held a successful Transport Planning Day 2024, and are currently planning (what will hopefully be an equally successful!) Transport Planning Day 2025.
  • Launched a new Summer Reception event, recently hosted by Jacobs in London
  • Held a Bursary Competition to reward young thinkers in the transport planning space.
  • Held numerous webinars on topics from urban freight to decarbonising transport.
