APPLICATION DEADLINE:
The deadline for submissions is 11:59pm (PST) Friday, November 11, 2022 TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE SPRING OF THE FOLLOWING YEAR (all material must be submitted on or before this date).

ELIGIBILITY
  1. Enrollment in a graduate program in biocommunication at the time of award (spring of the following year).
  2. Completion of at least one full year of the curriculum.

AWARD LEVELS:
Award amounts will vary from year to year and will be at the discretion of the Vesalius Trust Board of Directors and the Association of Medical Illustrators’ scholarship committee.
  • Vesalius Trust Student Research Grants awarded to applicants whose projects show evidence of merit, based on the judging guidelines.
  • Vesalian Scholarships awarded to the top applicants whose project show evidence of significant merit.
  • Alan Cole & Joyce McGill Scholarships awarded to the students with the proposed projects of the most merit.

REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS:
  1. Student Application: project description (4-5 pages), resume or CV (2-page limit), official graduate school transcript. 
  2. Faculty Advisor form submission.*
  3. Content Advisor form. This content advisor/preceptor/subject matter expert should be someone outside of your medical illustration faculty.*
