* 1. Thank you for your interest in applying to become a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Member! The Michigan Afterschool Partnership is recruiting the second cohort of youth ages 14-18 to serve as Youth Advisory Council Members. The purpose of the YAC is to support organizational youth voice and inclusion in decision-making. Youth Council members will facilitate sessions to provide input on MASP internal and external operations such as professional development offerings, Capitol Day and other advocacy activities, MASP communications, and evaluation.

Mission: The Michigan Afterschool Partnership advocates for equitable systems that support and expand quality out-of-school time experiences for all youth in the state.

Vision: The out-of-school time (OST) sector is a leader in equipping young people and adults across Michigan with the high-quality, youth-driven, and equitable experiences and resources they need to thrive in school, work, and life.

Each Youth Advisory Council members can each receive up to $1,650 stipend for full participation, as outlined in the YAC agreement, and paid quarterly.
