The locate request and notification system is managed by Ontario One Call. It relays dig information to underground infrastructure owners so that they can provide a locate within 5 business days. Ontario One Call has developed an education program to stop locate abuse and non-compliance and create experts in requesting and managing locates called the Professional Locate Administrator Course (“PLAC”).
