We are pleased to announce the Women in Credit Insurance UK Awards – a prestigious event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in the credit insurance industry in UK. These awards aim to honor the exceptional contributions, innovative spirit, and leadership of women who have made significant strides in their field.
We invite you to take part by nominating outstanding individuals who exemplify excellence, vision, and impact in our industry.

Leader Award
The Leader Award is a new WICI UK award category for 2026, created to recognise a woman in the credit insurance industry who demonstrates outstanding leadership, positive influence, and a commitment to helping others succeed.

This award celebrates women who lead with purpose, integrity, and impact. A strong nominee may be a senior leader, people manager, project lead, or someone who has shown leadership through influence rather than formal title.

Nominees may work across any area of the credit insurance market, including broking, underwriting, sales, account management, operations, risk, claims, compliance, customer service, technology, marketing, or business support
Submit Your Nominations

We invite you to celebrate the remarkable women shaping the credit insurance industry by submitting your nominations — and we can’t stress this enough:
Only detailed, well-written nominations will have a real chance of being selected.

To help the jury fully understand the impact of your nominee, please include as much relevant information as possible. A strong nomination should go beyond a job title — it should showcase the nominee’s accomplishments, leadership, and lasting contributions to the industry.

Suggested details to include in your nomination:

  • Leadership impact: Clear examples of how she has led people, projects, change, growth, or business improvement within credit insurance.
  • Inspiring others: Evidence that she motivates colleagues, supports confidence, encourages development, or acts as a positive role model for women in the industry.
  • Inclusive leadership: Evidence that she creates opportunities for others, encourages diverse voices, supports women’s progression, and helps build a culture where people feel valued and heard.
  • Resilience and integrity: Examples of leading through challenge, managing complexity, making difficult decisions, or maintaining high professional standards under pressure.
  • Collaboration and influence: Details of how she has brought people together across teams, businesses, brokers, insurers, clients, or industry networks to achieve shared outcomes.
🛑 Short or vague nominations may not give the jury enough insight to fairly assess your nominee.
