Your contribution will make a difference

Thank you for adding your voice to our survey.

The incidence and adverse impact of Transvaginal Mesh Implants (TVM) on Australian women is unknown. There is little information about the number of women who have undertaken the procedure and less about those who have suffered from side-effects. We do know from the many women who have come forward that the adverse outcomes can be severe.

Our aim is to understand the magnitude of the problem gain an insight into the success rate of this procedure and to address the circumstances of women who have experienced poor outcomes.

By capturing this information, we intend to hold the health system accountable and ensure that no more women suffer the consequences.

We appreciate that the information you are providing is very personal. Please be assured that your privacy will be respected. Information collected will be treated anonymously and is only used to inform our submission to the Senate Inquiry that was set up to establish the extent of this problem. If you would like to hear back from us, please either leave your contact details in the comments section, call us on 03 86769050 or via email at

We are seeking donations to continue this important work  and give mesh-affected women the voice they deserve to have heard. You are able to make a donation here.

Our survey will close on 31 August. If you would like to stay in touch with us, please like our Facebook page or subscribe to our newsletter. Visit our website for more information.
