The Helping Hands program is designed to give a "helping hand" to community organizations through small targeted grants to address community needs in Anaheim. DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) is an important part of ACF and our grant-making. You can read our DEI policy statement here.
Grant applications will be accepted July 31 - August 28, 2026. Grant awards and funds will be announced in October 2026.

GRANT CRITERIA
- 501c3 organization or eligible through a fiscal agent.
- Only one (1) application per organization.
- Grant awards typically range from $500 - $2,500
- Must primarily impact Anaheim residents.
- Special consideration is made for organizations that:
- Serve youth, older adults, or other at-promise populations.
- Provide services that address key Anaheim needs, particularly poverty, mental health, housing/homelessness, diverse and inclusive programming opportunities, social engagement, STEM programs and career readiness/workforce development.
- Follow up report will be requested from grantees 60 days after the money is spent and/or by June 30, 2027.
