Near Southside is applying to become a designated cultural district by the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA). As we pursue this designation, we are requesting your input to help guide our approach to the application process and to developing our Mission and Vision. Cultural districts are established to protect, promote and grow investment in cultural assets such as art, entertainment, food, design, craftsmanship, cultural experiences and patronage.
